About Me
Hi, I’m Caden Zhang, an illustrator passionate about visual storytelling that bridges history and fantasy.
Born in China and having studied in Canada for 7 years, I enjoy exploring the world's diverse cultures with an inclusive and curious eye. I draw and write to illustrate my complex feelings and understandings about the world.
As an illustrator, I also hope to use my strength to help individuals and communities better visualize and communicate ideas.
My Work
With a strong research-driven approach, I’ve illustrated figures in historical East Asian costume and developed world-building projects rooted in mythology.
My creative process combines traditional and digital techniques to achieve depth and texture in my work. Whether through illustration, concept art, or sequential art, I aim to create immersive visuals that evoke emotion and meaning.
